Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 1 January 2026

Our commitment

YourPDF Checker is committed to making its website and platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim for conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and continuously work to improve the accessibility of our digital services.

Standards applied

This website is built following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We apply semantic HTML, sufficient colour contrast (minimum 4.5:1 for body text), full keyboard navigation, and screen reader support throughout.

Technical approach

We use ARIA landmarks and labels, logical heading structure, visible focus indicators, and descriptive link text. Images include meaningful alt text or are marked as decorative. Forms include visible labels and helpful error messages.

Known limitations

We are continuously improving accessibility. Some complex data tables in the platform interface may not yet be fully accessible with all screen reader and browser combinations. We are actively working to resolve these.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, and assistive technologies including NVDA, VoiceOver and JAWS.

Feedback and assistance

If you experience any accessibility barrier or require content in an alternative format, please contact us at accessibility@yourpdfchecker.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Dutch Institute for Public Services (Logius) or the National Ombudsman.
