Who we are

YourPDF Checker is operated by Krafters B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands. This privacy statement explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our website and platform.

Data we collect

Account data — name, email address and organisation name, collected when you register.

Uploaded documents — PDF files you upload for checking. Documents are processed to generate accessibility reports and are not retained beyond 24 hours unless you explicitly save them.

Usage data — anonymous analytics about how the platform is used, to help us improve the service.

Payment data — billing information processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card details.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and improve the YourPDF Checker service, to send transactional emails (account confirmation, invoices), and to comply with legal obligations. We never sell your data to third parties.

Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for 12 months after account closure. Documents not explicitly saved by you are automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and export your personal data. You may exercise these rights by contacting privacy@yourpdfchecker.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

We use functional cookies for session management and preference storage. We use anonymous analytics to understand overall usage patterns. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
